As a web design agency York, you will be in charge of leading, developing, and designing compelling and seamless user experiences across desktop and mobile platforms. We’re excited to continue developing our digital capability. You’ll be collaborating with the development team to efficiently share interaction and design ideas across Head45 web designer york.

You will be in charge of managing the transformation and continued development for Head45, as well as contributing to web design projects by building user-friendly interfaces that improve the digital experiences of our prospective and existing users. While supporting the advancement of our web experience guidelines and design principles, you will contribute to the performance of our web and advertising user journeys.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop design system components, patterns, and UI elements to assist ongoing and new projects.
• Develop flow diagrams, interactive prototypes, and UI element specifications.
• Establish best practices and procedures for the design experience system, as well as user documentation and style guidelines.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure that designs are reliable, adaptable, and properly implemented.
• Working with cross-functional teams, leading data-driven design solutions for product epics, new features, and product upgrades.
• Implementation of iterative design, digital journey flow design, wireframes, and visual design execution. Making sure UX designs are properly user tested and improved throughout the design lifecycle.
• Assist with UI design with vision wireframes, valuable input, and feedback into the design system so it can be fully established and grow.
• Promote the user experience while working in a multidisciplinary development team.
• Review and verify UX decisions at every stage of the development process.
• Creating high-calibre responsive UX Designs for mobile and web experiences that are customer oriented.
• Use ideation, concepts, prototyping, final design visuals, and design/graphical toolkits to drive the complete end-to-end creative process.
• Collaborating with the internal teams (Development and Design) to create designs which are functional, usable and best practices.
• Managing the design identity and principles across digital channels.
• Making user experience decisions using data and insights.
• Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in designing the digital user experience.
• A strategic design-thinking mindset with a solid command of user-centric design approaches.
• Knowledge of agile management technologies and proficiency with digital design tools (such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, JIRA, and Confluence).
• Experience creating complex, full-featured web-based apps, platforms, and digital products.
• Competent in UX Design: Good understanding of methodologies and when to utilise them, such as journey mapping, design thinking, scenario-based thinking, and a persona-driven mindset.
• Outstanding digitally oriented portfolio exhibiting top-notch design work from the start to the finish.
• A keen eye and in-depth knowledge of the User Experience Design (UED) process.
• Excellent layout, composition, and typography abilities.
• Experience working in agile teams with digital, creative, designers, remote developers, and copywriters.
• Web Design abilities – UI design, mobile layouts, web patterns, validation.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise and an understanding of modern web development and design methodologies as they relate to web development and customer journey optimisation.
