We are searching for an SEO Manager who will be responsible for increasing organic traffic from search engines while putting emphasising on-site content across various landing pages, product pages, and blogs. The position also oversees backlinking across the entire website and collaborates closely with the development team to monitor and implement technical improvements. At our SEO agency Cambridge, the SEO Manager is responsible for overseeing the SEO project plan, which involves identifying opportunities, coordinating deadlines among various departments, executing tasks, and monitoring success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and oversee the outreach and SEO content plan to increase traffic and SERP visibility through the SEO marketing channel.
  • Set up and manage the implementation of the SEO roadmap to ensure a positive user and search engine bot experience.
  • Ongoing audit of  sites to determine major initiatives that will guide the roadmap
  • Make improvements to the current on-page content to comply with SEO best practices.
  • Recommend and develop new on-page content for attracting more traffic from search engine visitors.
  • Identify outreach opportunities to improve backlinks in collaboration with the digital marketing team, the digital content team, and the PR team, and participate in active outreach to generate backlinks.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience in developing and executing  SEO strategy
  • Comprehensive knowledge of search engines and their determining factors
  • Proven experience creating and editing SEO content
  • An in-depth knowledge of technical SEO to interact with the development team on key projects and the development of Core Web Vitals.
  • Excellent use of data to examine performance and make decisions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Greatly organised and multitasking abilities
  • An approach to solving problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to interact with individuals at all levels of organisation.
